This beautifully crafted figurine / statue is handcrafted in the Holy Land from sustainably harvested, authentic Bethlehem Olivewood. Using only non-productive olive trees from the Holy Land, this handmade piece reveals the stunning natural grain patterns of olive wood, free of any additives or sealants.

Pietà-style sculpture — Mary seated holding the body of Christ across her lap, abstract/simplified styling, carved from a single dark-grained olive wood block, no separate base. Symbolizing pietà / passion of christ / virgin mary. Bold, semi-abstract two-figure carving. Seated Mary with veil/head covering holds the recumbent Christ figure across her lap. Dark olive wood grain dominates (heavily streaked black lines). Compact block-form composition, no separate base — carved from a natural olive wood burl or stump. Approximately 15–20 cm tall.
