This finely sculpted figurine / statue / sculptural group is handcrafted in the Holy Land from sustainably harvested, authentic Bethlehem Olivewood. Using only non-productive olive trees from the Holy Land, this handmade piece reveals the stunning natural grain patterns of olive wood, free of any additives or sealants.

From this angle the depth of the composition is clearer: left figure (Jesus) seated upright on a block-style seat, facing right figure (disciple) who kneels with head slightly bowed. Bowl/vessel clearly centered between them on the base. Cross-hatch/diagonal line carving on Jesus figure’s robes more visible from side. Natural-edge live-edge base slab shows full depth and dark olive grain from this angle. Rectangular flat slab base more uniform in height from this view. Background light grey, clean studio shot.
