This beautiful nativity set (grotto) is handcrafted in the Holy Land from sustainably harvested, authentic Bethlehem Olivewood. Using only non-productive olive trees from the Holy Land, this handmade piece reveals the stunning natural grain patterns of olive wood, free of any additives or sealants.

Olive wood nativity grotto — natural-edge log cave/stable with Holy Family figurines (Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus in manger), real hay, and Bethlehem star. Symbolizing nativity / birth of jesus. Materials include olive wood (natural edge bark-on). Wide horizontal natural-edge olive wood log section carved into a grotto/stable. Rough bark retained on exterior edges with dark oxidized appearance. Interior hollowed to reveal cave scene. Carved star of Bethlehem protrudes from top center. Inside: carved figurine of kneeling Joseph (left), standing Mary (right), baby Jesus in carved manger at center, real dried hay/straw in manger. Two chamber openings visible. Rich grain contrast.
