Holy Land Artifacts – 30-Day Return & Exchange Policy

At Holy Land Artifacts (website url address: https://holyland-artifacts.com), we take pride in offering handcrafted olive wood religious artifacts created by Christian artisans in Jerusalem and Bethlehem. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, we offer a 30-day return policy with certain conditions.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return or exchange.
To be eligible for a return:
- Item must be in its original condition (unused, unworn, undamaged)
- Item must be in its original packaging
- All tags and Certificate of Authenticity must be included
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required
2. Items Eligible for Return
The following items may be returned within 30 days:
Returnable Items:
- Crosses and crucifixes (wall-mounted, standing, decorative)
- Rosaries and prayer beads
- Nativity sets and individual figures
- Religious wall art and plaques
- Figurines and statues
- Home blessing plaques and décor
- Jewelry and devotional items (unworn, with tags)
- Decorative items (magnets, ornaments, keychains)
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned due to hygiene, customization, or safety reasons:
- Personalized or custom-engraved items
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance”
- Gift cards and pilgrimage tour packages
- Downloadable digital products (if applicable)
- Items damaged due to misuse or neglect
- Items without original packaging or Certificate of Authenticity
- Items returned after 30 days from delivery
4. Return Shipping
Return Shipping Costs:
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance
- Holy Land Artifacts is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipment
Defective or Damaged Items:
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will cover the return shipping costs. Please contact us immediately at [email protected] or 330-979-5524 with photos of the damage.
5. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:

2. Provide Information:
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Photos (if item is damaged or defective)
3. Receive Return Authorization:
We will review your request and provide a Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping address within 2 business days.
4. Pack and Ship:
- Securely pack the item in its original packaging
- Include all original materials (Certificate of Authenticity, tags, inserts)
- Write the RA number clearly on the outside of the package
- Ship to the address provided
5. Confirmation:
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email regarding the status of your refund.
6. Refund Processing
Inspection:
Upon receiving your return, we will inspect the item to ensure it meets our return policy requirements.
Refund Timeline:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase
- Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
Refund Amount:
- Full refund of the item price (minus original shipping costs if applicable)
- Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was defective or incorrect
Partial Refunds:
In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Items showing signs of use or wear
- Items with missing Certificate of Authenticity or packaging
- Items returned after 30 days (at our discretion)
No Refund:
Returns may be denied if:
- Item is not in its original condition
- Item is damaged due to customer misuse
- Return is initiated after 30 days
- Item is non-returnable (see list above)
7. Exchanges
We accept exchanges for the same item in a different size, style, or design (if available).
Exchange Process:
- Contact us using the return process above
- Indicate the item you’d like to exchange for
- Return the original item
- Once received and inspected, we will ship the replacement item at no additional cost (if available)
If the replacement item is more expensive, you will be charged the difference. If it is less expensive, we will refund the difference.
Out-of-Stock Exchanges:
If the item you wish to exchange for is out of stock, we will issue a full refund or provide store credit for future purchases.
8. Damaged or Defective Items
We carefully inspect and package all items before shipment. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately.
Steps for Damaged/Defective Items:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Email photos clearly showing the damage or defect
- Provide your order number and description of the issue
We will:
- Provide a prepaid return shipping label
- Send a replacement item at no charge, or
- Issue a full refund including original shipping costs
9. Lost or Stolen Packages
Tracking Information:
All orders include tracking information. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.
Lost Packages:
If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you did not receive it:
- Check with neighbors or household members
- Verify the delivery address on your order confirmation
- Contact the shipping carrier (USPS/UPS) to file a claim

We cannot be held responsible for packages marked as “delivered” by the carrier. However, we will work with you to resolve the issue.
10. Incorrect Items
If you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We will:
- Provide a prepaid return label
- Ship the correct item at no additional cost

11. Order Cancellations
Before Shipment:

After Shipment:
Once your order has shipped, you cannot cancel it. However, you may return it according to our 30-day return policy once you receive it.

13. Pilgrimage Tour Packages
Pilgrimage tour bookings have separate cancellation and refund policies managed by our tour partners. Please refer to your tour booking confirmation for specific terms, or contact us for assistance.
14. Gift Returns
If you received an item as a gift and wish to return it:
- Contact us with the gift giver’s order number (if available)
- We will issue store credit equal to the item’s purchase price
- Monetary refunds for gifts can only be issued to the original purchaser
15. International Returns
International customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and any applicable customs fees or duties. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Refunds will be issued in USD to the original payment method.
16. Restocking Fees
Holy Land Artifacts does not charge restocking fees for standard returns. However, returns of large or custom wholesale orders may be subject to a restocking fee at our discretion.
